AN INVITING CHURCH
celebrating God's love at work in our lives and in the world
Valuing scripture, tradition and reason as the foundation of our faith, Eastern Shore Chapel is a welcoming church in the Episcopal Diocese of Southern Virginia. We seek to be conduits of God's healing and restoration, working toward openness and understanding, justice, and healing and wholeness of life for all people.
Our Virginia Beach Episcopal Church welcomes everyone into the full life and ministry of the church. If you're looking for a Spirit-filled, Christ-centered community where you can grow in your faith and relationship with Jesus, you'll feel right at home in our congregation.

"I was in prison and you visited me.” We focus on inmates with long sentences whom family has stopped visiting.

Our Rabbi
Our clergy includes a "rabbi scholar," who shares with us his knowledge of the Hebrew Scripture and Jewish faith.

Parish Day School
One of the top preschools in Hampton Roads, our full-day care has maintained the coveted NAEYC accreditation.

Chapel Pantry
We feed the hungry onsite, with full client choice in our aisles and produce market. Donate or volunteer!

Parish Book Store
Come shop for gifts, Christian accents and jewelry, and of course books (also sold through our online book store!)

Cemetery
We have one of the area's few cemeteries that allow engraved memorial stones. Soon expanding by 1800 graves.
A SPIRIT-FILLED CHURCH
