AN INCLUSIVE CHURCH
celebrating God's love at work in our lives and in the world
Valuing scripture, tradition and reason as the foundation of our faith, Eastern Shore Chapel is an inclusive church in the Episcopal Diocese of Southern Virginia. We seek to be conduits of God's healing and restoration, working toward openness and understanding, justice, and healing and wholeness of life for all people.
Our Virginia Beach Episcopal Church welcomes into the full life and ministry of the church persons of every race, culture, age, gender, sexual orientation, ability, and economic status. If you're looking for a Spirit-filled, Christ-centered community where you can grow in your faith and relationship with Jesus, you'll feel right at home in our congregation.

Watch our military welcome video and learn more on how we support military families >
WHAT MAKES OUR CHURCH SPECIAL?
Come explore our 32 acres of land, including an outdoor chapel & labyrinth. Caring for God's creation is a priority.
Our large, traditional music ministry includes a 35-member choir, children's choir, handbells, concerts with orchestra, music camp & more.
"I was in prison and you visited me.” We focus on inmates with long sentences whom family has stopped visiting.
We have one of the area's few cemeteries that allow engraved memorial stones. Soon expanding by 1800 graves.
A SPIRIT-FILLED CHURCH
on a mission
To love all as Christ loves us and to share the light of God through worship, service, and ministry.
